I want to thank Gov. Mike Dunleavy for pandering to his base and allowing unlicensed off-road vehicles to drive on streets and highways. For the past week, I have watched two side-by-sides race on my street, and two underage-looking boys on small dirt bikes ride on the road, and they do this every day.
One guy drives his four-wheeler to work in the early morning hours, on the street. My street has a half-mile-plus straight stretch and motorcycles routinely crank it up to more than 100 mph, as do those guys in their Razors or side-by-sides. This is a preventable accident waiting to happen, and Gov. Dunleavy is directly responsible.
