In the early morning hours of June 10, there was a serious fire at my neighbor’s house. Due to the quick response of the Anchorage Police and Fire Departments, no one was hurt and the fire was contained. I was extremely impressed by the swift, skilled response of the firefighters that kept the flames from spreading to my home, which was only a few feet away from the blaze, and to the other homes in the neighborhood. I want to extend my deep, heartfelt thanks to our first responders.
