Letter: We need 4 choices

Yesterday, I read that Nick Begich has used his money to hire an attorney in an attempt to block Tara Sweeney from running against him to replace Congressman Don Young. When we voted for a new election process, we voted to have the four best candidates to choose from. Why is Begich trying to limit the field?

With the sudden passing of Don Young and a crowded group looking to replace him, Alaskans deserve four choices. If we do not allow for four choices to move forward to the rank choice voting process, then the process will be flawed. This action will set precedence and we need to have four candidates.
