Letters to the Editor

Letter: Taxpayer priorities

Thank you to the Anchorage Assembly for making sure that the property tax dollars that I pay are used for those who need it, including victims of violence, school resource officers and the Mental Health Crisis Team. I expect to pay my fair share to make this community safer, more educated, and to help those who are vulnerable and need support.

I do not pay my property taxes in order to fund positions that go to people who have connections to the mayor, and I do not pay my property taxes so that the mayor may send letters complaining about the Assembly not doing what he wants them to do.

Please do not waste my money, Mayor Bronson.
