Letter: Face facts

It amazes me that former President Donald Trump and his sidekicks Kelly Tshibaka and Sarah Palin continue to spout the nonsense that there was massive voter fraud during the 2020 election despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.  After the election, Trump used his lies to raise tens of millions of dollars for the purpose of proving the alleged voter fraud. He and his allies have now had well over a year to prove up their claims, but they have failed to discover even a shred of credible supporting evidence.

Tshibaka and Palin put their allegiance to Trump and his false claims above the interests of Alaskans. If, heaven forbid, they are elected to the Senate and House, they will simply follow Trump’s orders so they can remain in the Trump cult. It’s time for Republicans to face facts, move on from the 2020 election, and focus on what’s best for the country.
