I think the ADN editorial board’s editorial on David Eastman (Oct. 16) smacked of hypocrisy. If he were a Democrat, he wouldn’t get a free pass from the editorial board in regards to the accusations of his rights being violated.
You failed to mention that he also has the right of countersuit over his free speech and freedom of association rights. This should have been brought up by his attorney during the hearings.
