Letters to the Editor

Letter: A critical detail

While preparing to leave office, Lt. Gov. Kevin Meyer assured us that Alaskan elections have been and are extremely secure and accurate. That is reassuring.  What is not is that Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s new running mate for lieutenant governor, Nancy Dahlstrom, has refused to say whether or not she considers President Joe Biden to be properly elected. She only says that she “has started investigating ways Alaska can improve the accuracy of its voter rolls and election system.”

Considering all the promulgated Outside voting restrictions, will this attitude be good or bad for us?

We don’t need a lieutenant governor who will bring election controversy to our state.
