Letter: Remove Eastman from office

This week, Stuart Rhodes and four other leaders of the Oath Keepers were found guilty of seditious conspiracy to overturn our election/country. We have Rep. David Eastman of Wasilla admitting he is a member of the Oath Keepers and that he had admitted he was in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021.

Eastman heeded the call from the Oath Keepers to descend on Washington, D.C. There is no place for any Oath Keeper to be in any government office. The judge allowed Eastman’s name on the ballot. Now Eastman will have his chance in court in December to see if he will be allowed to stay in office.

Eastman should never be allowed in elected office again. No one involved in an insurrection should ever be allowed in government.
