As a member of the Anchorage theater community, I am sorry that the newspaper doesn’t report more about local play productions.
I just saw Anchorage Community Theater’s “Annie,” a well-done musical involving lots of people and talent, their first show performed at the PAC. Years ago, the ADN would have done a feature story and a review.
I realize your staff and budget have been reduced, but locally generated plays involve a lot of dedicated Alaskans and their artistic ambitions. They deserve more coverage.
