Letter: Prescription costs

I sympathize with recent letter-writer Bob Lacher of Palmer, who detailed his elderly father’s monthly medical costs. Imagine, however, walking into a Carr’s or Walgreens pharmacy and paying cash out of pocket, which would cost easily twice the amount Lacher referenced (that’s $42,000 doubled). You could also ask Sen. Dan Sullivan the same question, as he is opposed to any “reform” of health care costs.
