Letter: Too many ‘mistakes’

What’s the difference between a mistake and fraud?

The Bronson administration admits that McKenna Bros. Trucking did indeed get gas for its trucks from the municipal pump. In fact, this happened 97 times.

They say it was just a “mistake,” so we should move on. Their excuse is that new people were involved. Isn’t this the same excuse used to describe the administration’s illegal green light to Hickel Construction without the required Assembly approval?

There have been too many “mistakes” since Mayor Dave Bronson took office — plus the fact that McKenna Bros. was a big donor to the Bronson campaign.

Anchorage deserves better!
