Letter: Enough is enough

The ADN editorial published on Feb. 12 listed 34 instances of Mayor Dave Bronson’s incompetence and/or corruption.

Every politician screws up, but that many times in less than two years can’t be acceptable. Recently, the Anchorage Assembly killed the Holtan Hills subdivision in Girdwood, saying that they couldn’t trust the mayor to properly administer the deal.

Incompetence and corruption on their own are bad enough, but when the city government is so dysfunctional that it stops the city’s progress, then it is time for a change. Social issues aside, Anchorage needs and deserves competent leadership. It is time for Mayor Bronson to step aside and give someone else a chance to lead our city.
