Letters to the Editor

Letter: Be more Christian

Every person deserves decent living conditions, but our current mayor and his team apparently do not believe all are worthy. We owe support to those who cannot sustain themselves because they are human beings.

Mayor Dave Bronson, get your head out of the snowbanks you let build up and tend to the most vulnerable among us in our good city. Closing the Sullivan Arena at the end of April would displace nearly 500 people! Many need extensive support, physically and mentally. The mayor’s job is to facilitate the health and welfare of the whole community. He should do that job. We are our brothers’ keepers.

Mayor Bronson says he’s proud to be a Christian; he should start behaving like one — and as a leader, duly elected.
