Letter: Less judgment, more solutions

We live in a society that puts a lot of stock in the “just do it” response to problems. I believe that’s why there is so much judgment against the homeless in our city.

If judgment were a solution to anything, we wouldn’t have any problems. We could just pass judgment on people with problems, and those challenges would magically disappear.

Judgment doesn’t work. Judgment is not one of the solutions. The challenge of homelessness is a complex one. Let’s look for solutions. Let’s get everyone on board — the homeless and those not challenged by this reality.
