Letter: A better oil tax solution

Hello? Anybody home? Instead of trying to decide if we should impose a starter sales tax on Alaskans or cut the Permanent Fund dividend, we should go back to the ACES oil tax structure. We were much better off under ACES, and yet I see scant mention of that truth.

Think of all the programs that Gov. Mike Dunleavy has cut so we could continue to pay oil companies to take our oil. The oil companies prefer SB21 because it makes them richer, but we need to stand up for ourselves.
