Spring cleanup begins this month. In my neighborhood, Fairview, we will meet at the Fairview Recreation Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 13. I invite all Anchorage residents, including the Assembly and Bronson administration, to show up and help us in a cleanup that is never-ending. For three years, the city, and indeed the state, has dumped a problem that impacts all of us into one neighborhood.
The damage has been far-reaching. We need a lot of help; many residents will need to work that day and there is so much to do. We’re nice people and we will welcome the help. Thank you, Anchorage!
