ADN photographer Emily Mesner’s photo of a city contractor handing out tents to homeless shelter residents on their way out sure was worth 1,000 words. A lot of them are unprintable.
Please, let’s stop electing politicians who promise to break government, hire political hacks and have no interest in public policy. It’s taken two years for Mayor Dave Bronson to get educated on homelessness in Anchorage and for him to realize his campaign rhetoric was completely imprudent. Two years, and now we are handing out tents.
