Here we go again: Donald Trump gets indicted in Georgia, gets a mugshot, says it’s a sad day for America, then grifts his followers by putting his mugshot on T-shirts. This is the former president of the United States, mind you. And he is the current frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president.
During the recent GOP debates, Trump’s fellow candidates for the Republican nomination indicated they would vote for Trump even if he is convicted of crimes.
I read even our Gov. Mike Dunleavy has recently endorsed Trump for president. It seems stealing national security secrets, obstructing investigations, trying to overturn election results and attempting to overthrow democracy itself is fine with today’s Republican Party.
It shouldn’t be. We deserve better.
