Hooray for folks like Gregg Carr, whose letter recommending ending the Permanent Fund dividend and instead funding education, child care, maintenance to existing infrastructure, health care, and the needs of homeless families, etc.
There also needs to be a state income tax. We all need to be contributing to the well-being and upkeep of our state.
Under our present political “leadership,” we are rapidly becoming a backwater by not taking care of each other or the place we call home!
