Letters to the Editor

Letter: The rest of the story

Years ago, there was a popular radio broadcaster by the name of Paul Harvey. One of his features was a segment called “The Rest of the Story,” which expanded on popular news items, providing a lot of backstory and often important information to listeners.

Luckily, Alaska has a talented newsman doing similar things with his “Reporting from Alaska” website. Dermot Cole, a longtime news writer from Fairbanks, offers relatively short, detailed information on the doings of the Dunleavy administration, Sen. Dan Sullivan, and other governmental wheelers and dealers. Dermot fills in the blanks for you in short, revealing background articles that offer us the “rest of the story.” I urge everyone to read Reporting from Alaska.
