Letters to the Editor

Letter: Plowing praise and blame

I have never done this before, but I would actually like to commend Mayor Dave Bronson’s administration. The recent collaboration with the state to help them clear their roads was greatly appreciated. I live on the Hillside, and they did a great job with DeArmoun, O’Malley, and Hillside streets. All are statemaintained roads that have been neglected over the years.

What can not be lost in the conversation is the failure of Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s administration. The lack of funding totally rests on Dunleavy’s idiotic budget cuts. He likes to deflect blame to anyone but himself, but I would like him to once defend those cuts. I expect to hear silence. Yes, we deserve better.
