Letter: Ranked choice stinks

Ranked choice voting seeks to confuse voters so that they have a difficult time electing their representatives. A good example is the Alaska 2022 U.S. House race, with voters electing a Democrat to represent Alaska.

Nick Begich III and Sarah Palin divided the Republican vote, and we got a Democrat candidate who had fewer votes than their combined total. As the saying goes: “Figures don’t lie, but liars figure.”
