Letter: End warrantless surveillance

Our representatives in Congress must vote against the latest reauthorization of the FISA Act in Congress immediately.

The history of abuse arising from FISA’s warrantless surveillance has eroded the privacy of Americans through the claims of only being used on foreign agents, who incidentally are in communication with American subjects of interest.

This will be an especially proving vote from our own Rep. Mary Peltola, who has yet to show through her votes whether she will represent the privacy interests of Alaskans or federal surveillance interests.
