Sen. Lisa Murkowski recently suggested that disqualifying Donald Trump from appearing on the ballot for the presidency would be “politically fraught with peril.” First and foremost, any decision to disqualify Trump will come from the courts — and will, presumably, be based upon the rule of law.
Murkowski appears to confuse the rule of law with politics. She should, in my opinion, know better. And I hope that she will know better going forward.
