We just returned from our annual trek to the Hotel Captain Cook to admire and enjoy the gingerbread village.
I am so sorry to see this wonderful tradition end; however, I would like to thank Joe Hickel for all the joy he has brought to so many. A favorite memory of mine is of my late mother when Hickel brought her a piece to taste of warm gingerbread, straight from the oven. She could not believe how good it was, and how much fun it was to meet him. Thank you!
