Regarding long-term concerns about the workforce in Alaska, please look at the number of folks who have left due to poor funding of education. Here in Talkeetna, we lost our beloved doctor to Oregon because she saw the direction and the writing on the wall, from preschool to university funding in Alaska. And others ain’t coming because they see the same trends.
