In what crazy world do we fail to promote the best and brightest young people in our community?
The key resources for Alaska’s long-term future are not the fossil fuel or mining industries; those industries have a limited future. The key resources for Alaska’s long-term future are the people in this state. Their wisdom, skills, and desire for a better world will drive Alaska forward. Gutting education is one sure way to destroy that drive.
