Letters to the Editor

Letter: Support Nikki Haley

I am asking the ADN’s readers to please vote on March 5 for Nikki Haley. The polls will be run by the Alaska Republican Party. I am told the polls will be open between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at designated polling places throughout Alaska. I am not sure they will be open in Whittier and Trapper Creek, but you can look for your district polling site on alaskagop.net.

It is all very confusing. The Alaska state elections office has nothing to do with running this poll or election and is not a source of reliable information concerning it.

Our votes for Haley, Donald Trump and even Vivek Ramaswamy will be proportioned out by the Alaska GOP to yield delegates for the July 15 Republican national convention in Milwaukee. The convention delegates will choose the Republican nominee for president of the United States.

Poll voters must be registered Alaskan Republican voters. If you want to vote, you must have an R near the top of your state voter ID card. If you don’t, you can fill out an application at the polling place and vote. This might be faster to do ahead of time at the state elections office.

Check again for designated polling places throughout Alaska at alaskagop.net. And please vote for Nikki Haley.
