Letter: Hypocrisy vs. duty

Donald Trump is, first and foremost, a salesman. A narcissistic person, the primary thing he sells is the image of himself. He is an example not of what to emulate, but what to avoid in leadership.

His history of not paying his bills is extensive and one of the main reasons he finds it hard to hire skilled lawyers anymore. That he encourages Russia to attack NATO members who are delinquent in paying their share is hypocrisy as well as harmful to America and its relationships with other countries.

America needs politicians who take their duties seriously, not those who use simple-minded soundbites to excite their supporters while ignoring the negative effects that those words have on those duties.
