I am a third-grader at Turnagain Elementary School and I am happy and thankful to read that the Alaska State House passed the education bill.
I am happy because the programs I like the most in school, such as IGNITE and language immersion, could end without more state money. Alaska schools have not received more money from the state for many years and costs have gone up.
I hope Gov. Mike Dunleavy supports the education bill and signs it too.
