Letter: The wrong guy for mayor

Dave Bronson’s campaign ads show exactly why he should not be our mayor. In these ads, he attacks the Assembly, jokes about their policy ideas and even calls them “a bunch of idiots.” How does that help our city?

The mayor and the Assembly should not be adversaries.

We taxpayers pay them both.

They should work together to improve Anchorage, not fight with each other.

The Assembly is not even up for election this year, but the mayor is. I, for one, want a mayor who will respect the Assembly’s role in our municipality’s government, will respect the Assembly members and the citizens who elected them, and will work in a cooperative way to improve Anchorage.

Mayor Bronson has proven he is not that guy.
