Letter: Voting for Tuck

Chris Tuck has years of public accountability and has been held under the political microscope both as a school board member and as a state legislator having served as the House minority and majority leader.

Three big issues are motivating me to vote for Chris Tuck: Plowed streets, homelessness, and education.

Plowing Mayor Dave Bronson’s street shows Tuck “thinks out of the box” and is creative. If there is anything we need, it’s a mayor who thinks “out of the box.” One of the taglines of Tuck’s campaign is “Don’t get stuck! Vote Chris Tuck!” I’m taking that advice.

Our homeless situation continues to grow. We’ve had two winters where what got done was late, poorly planned, and frighteningly inhumane.

Tuck knows the ropes, and having his strong relationships in Juneau doesn’t hurt.

It’s time for a better plan, and that plan for me is voting for Tuck.
