Letter: World Plumbing Day

We just celebrated World Plumbing Day on March 11.

Think about how lucky you are to have fresh water to drink, bathe, and cook.

Do you ever let the water run to get a cold drink or wait for it to get hot? There are people around the world, the U.S., Alaska, and even Anchorage who don’t have this luxury. We all need access to clean water and sanitary sewer systems.

The plumber protects the health of the nation.
