2020 Alaska state elections: What’s important to you?

This is a big election year in Alaska, with a U.S. Senate seat, a U.S. House seat and most of the Alaska Legislature up for election. (Along with a presidential election and state ballot measures.)

As we prepare to cover the general election campaigns, we want your help. What issues do you think candidates should be focused on? What specific questions would be useful to press candidates on to give you the information you need when deciding between candidates?

We want to give candidates the chance to tell voters where they stand — and we want to give voters the opportunity to know where they stand. We’ll soon be sending out detailed issue surveys to all candidates in the the November general elections.
