Candidates for U.S. Senate and U.S. House faced off Monday in a forum sponsored by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.
The participants included U.S. Senate Lisa Murkowski and challenger Kelly Tshibaka, both Republicans, and Pat Chesbro, Democrat. The House debate featured Rep. Mary Peltola, Democrat who participated via Zoom, Republicans Nick Begich and Libertarian Chris Bye. Former Gov. Sarah Palin did not attended but sent a pre-recorded video.
The event was moderated by Chamber of Commerce board member Julie Hasquet.
