Alaska Aces season ticket holder Chris Lawrence picks out seats marked 103 and 104 to take home as Sullivan Arena undergoes renovations on Wednesday afternoon, June 10, 2015, in the parking lot facing Gambell Street. "I wanted to get a 103 and a 104 because those were the seats I always sat in," he said. Improvements being made at the Arena, the home rink of the Aces and UAA Seawolves hockey teams, include new seating, new Plexiglass surrounding the rink and significant work to upgrade the ice-making plant. The improvements are the most significant work done inside the arena since it opened in 1983.
