The Alaska Association of Figure Skaters hosted a sendoff party for Olympic figure skater Keegan Messing of Girdwood at the Dimond Center ice rink on Friday evening, Feb. 2, 2018. Messing will compete in the sport for Canada at the Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Messing performed a short demonstration of some of his leaps and spins to the gathered crowd, and posed for photos with fans at the side of the rink.
