Partow was the only musher to break the 33-minute barrier in Saturday's 10-mile heat. He was the fastest on Friday too and will take a lead of nearly 2½ minutes into Sunday's final heat.

Folliowing a run of 32 minutes, 40 seconds on Saturday, Partow's two-day total time is 1 hour, 2 minutes, 24 seconds. Jerry Woods, who drove 10 dogs Friday and nine Saturday, is in second place.
