— The Bucs beat the Pilots for the first time in four games by surviving a ninth-inning rally. With his team leading 7-5 with no outs and the bases loaded, Robert Winborne entered in relief for the Bucs and retired three straight batters on an infield fly, a sacrifice fly that made it 7-6 and a game-ending strikeout. Cole Kleszcz sparked a 12-hit attack for the Bucs with two hits and two RBIs, including a solo homer in the seventh.

— Nick Ames drove in three runs, had two hits and scored twice to lead the Goldpanners in a slugfest — Fairbanks ripped 11 hits; the Northwest Honkers had 10.
