Kana Mateaki scored once on offense and another time on defense to propel Dimond to a 25-6 victory in a Cook Inlet Conference flag football game Wednesday at Bartlett High.
Mateaki, who pulled four flags and rushed for 118 yards on nine carries, scored on a 7-yard run and returned an interception 61 yards for another score.
Kristine Cunningham added a 2-yard touchdown run and Shanleigh Sullivan caught an 8-yard scoring strike from Haley Rogers to account for Dimond’s other touchdowns. Skyler Coleman gave the Lynx a boost by rushing for 91 yards on eight carries.
