Here's how these Aces stack up historically at the ECHL's one-third pole

OK, after the Alaska Aces' 4-3 shootout loss at Missouri on Friday night — that drops the club to 0-4 in shootouts this season — let's check out how the Aces stack up at the one-third mark (24 games) of the ECHL's 72-game regular season.

At 14-5-5, the Aces own 33 points — strong work. And those 33 points match what the franchise's last Kelly Cup-winning crew had after 24 games and surpasses what the 2011 Cup-winning team accumulated.

Granted, the 33 points are still quite shy of the 2006 Cup winners, who through 24 games were 18-3-3 for 39 points.
