UAA women's basketball signs another guard, and that makes 4 new ones

UAA women's basketball coach Ryan McCarthy is stocking up on guards — the school announced Friday he has received a commitment from another one, making all four of his announced recruits guards.

Victoria Langi has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Seawolves beginning in the fall, and she already has a teammate with whom she is tight. Her younger sister, Sala, committed to UAA during the early signing period.

Victoria Langi led Skyline College in San Bruno, California, in scoring last season with 15.9 points per game and was named All-North Coast Conference. The 5-6 guard also averaged 6.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals.

The Seawolves, winners of three straight Great Northwest Athletic Conference titles, went 30-2 last season, one season after they were runners-up in NCAA Division II. UAA has gone 97-7 the last three seasons.
