UAA cross country and track programs rank among Division II's best

UAA's men's cross-country running and indoor and outdoor track and field programs combined this school year to finish fifth among Division II programs in standings compiled by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Seawolves women finished 11th.

UAA's men, who finished third last year, landed fifth after finishing fifth at the cross country nationals, 13th at the outdoor track nationals and 28th at the indoor track nationals.

UAA's women finished eighth in cross country, 21st in indoor track and 62nd in outdoor track.

Adams State of Colorado has won the men's overall title all nine seasons since the standings were instituted. Grand Valley State of Michigan won the women's title this season to give it its seventh title in nine seasons.
