The UAA women’s basketball team’s home game Saturday has been canceled due to its opponent only being able to field a team of six players.
The Great Northwest Athletic Conference announced Friday that Saint Martin’s would not be able to play the game with just six available players. The league did give a reason for the school’s limited roster.
The game was set to be the regular season finale for the Seawolves, who are fresh off a buzzer-beater victory over Western Oregon on Thursday.
The Saint Martin’s vs. UAA men’s ‘Senior Night’ game remains on for 7:30 p.m. at the Alaska Airlines Center
The women’s team will have its ‘Senior Night’ festivities at halftime of the men’s game.
