Soldotna and Kenai Central played for the medium-school state championship Saturday, so it's no wonder those two teams won all of the Northern Lights Conference's top postseason award.
Kenai running back Andrew Wellborn was the conference's offensive player of the year, Kenai guard/interior lineman Zach Kozickowski was named the lineman of the year, and Kenai coach John Marquez was named coach of the year.
For Soldotna, lineman Trevor Walden was named the defensive player of the year and Eric Pomerleau was named assistant coach of the year.
