Margy Johnson

Voted Alaskan of the Year in 2013 by the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce. 3 terms Mayor of Cordova. Former President of the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce (first woman) 15 year board member of First National Bank Alaska. Former Director of International Trade for State of Alaska. 10 year Board Member Prince William Sound Regional Citizens Council. (Formed after the Exxon Valdez) Advisory Board for BP Alaska and Alyeska President's Advisory Board. Her hobbies include studying and living Alaska history, discussing public policy, and hosting elaborate high tea events (formerly called tea parties). Margy also is passionate about promoting responsible resource development, collecting Alaska Native art, and collecting and wearing vintage hats. She is a Lifetime member of Pioneers of Alaska and is mother to one nearly-perfect son and a perfect daughter in law.
