FBI and Anchorage police are searching for a suspect in a South Anchorage bank robbery Saturday afternoon.
A convicted killer James Coven, 27, already serving a 199-year sentence for a double homicide was found guilty Tuesday of severely beating a corrections officer in 2012, prosecutors said.
The blaze, reported to the Anchorage Fire Department around 4:48 p.m., ripped through the trees slated for recycling outside the Carrs store at 1650 W. Northern Lights Blvd.
