Student arrested over bathroom threat at Dimond High, police say

A fourth student has been arrested over threats written on a bathroom wall at an Anchorage-area school.

Anchorage police arrested a male student Tuesday at Dimond High School, where the string of threats that has plagued the Anchorage School District began Nov. 5. Four threats have been made against Dimond High School since then.

Student resource officers reviewed surveillance video and interviewed students after the graffiti was discovered in the boy’s bathroom, identifying a boy as the suspect. Charges have been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The boy’s arrest follows that of three other students arrested over threats at Bartlett High School, Service High School and Begich Middle School.
