Sen. Lisa Murkowski commented she has been “struggling” for some time with her support for President Donald Trump. He reacted that he would support anyone over her in the next election — “...any candidate, good or bad. Anyone with a pulse.”
This is not a President who has the best interests of Alaska at heart, or the best interests of the nation. He will oppose our senator regardless of who runs against her, without even knowing who that might be. This is just naked self-aggrandizement.
The only thing we can trust about Donald Trump is that he will look out for Donald Trump. No other issue matters to him, and the welfare of the people is completely subordinate to his own personal interest.
