Letters to the Editor

Letter: Thanks for trails and parks

I am fortunate to live next to one of Anchorage’s wonderful bike trails. Every day as I walk, run and bike, I am buoyed up by having this resource available to me. Thank you to everyone who has worked hard and continues to advocate for these trails. You make our lives in this trying time better.

Thank you to the hardworking Parks and Recreation crew who come by daily to empty the cans and restock the dog poop bags. You are appreciated. I believe our parks are one of the most valuable assets in our community as evidenced by all the people of all ages I see enjoying them. I encourage you to get on your bike and try the Moose Loop or go for a hike in Chugach State Park. It’s a beautiful time of year and it will lift your spirits.
